How to stick a wallpaper?
For the application of the wallpaper prepare: a delicate wallpaper glue, a roller as for painting walls, a sharp paper knife. It is best to apply the wallpaper by two people, so an installation partner is very recommended.
1. We start with the arrangement of the wallpaper on the wall. Here, please put the wallpaper against the wall. Then mark the plumb on the wall.
2. The adhesive is systematically applied ON THE WALL, on a surface slightly larger than the applied stripe of wallpaper.
3. Glue the stripes one by one, from the top of the wall, so that one of the folded parts falls freely downwards.
4. Then, match the pattern very carefully, matching the lengths of the wallpaper one by one.
5. We connect the edges 'edge-to-edge' (do not put one on top of the other), delicately so as not to damage the wallpaper.
6. If bubbles appear, gently pull them out with a soft roller, it will not damage the wallpaper.
7. Cut off excess wallpaper near the floor with a paper knife.
8. Excess glue can be removed with a damp sponge or cloth, but do not rub the wallpaper several times in the same place, so as not to damage it.
Installation of wallpaper is easy and fun. Alone in the studio (we girls), we installed wallpapers and it is not a big problem for us. It is only important for two people to put the wallpaper (if only because of the matching of the pattern) and to apply the wallpaper precisely, slowly. Then the pattern will come out perfectly and you will be 100% satisfied with the effect.

From what kind of material wallpapers are being made?
We produce our wallpapers on a special material that we have been looking for on the market for a very long time. It is a refined paper that beautifully reproduces colors. It is durable, matte and snow-white.

How the wallpapers are prepared?
We always prepare the wallpapers in vertical panels - stripes that measure 50 cm or 100 cm width (depending on the pattern). Wallpapers have no margins, so you apply the stripes just next to one another.
Can I exchange my order? What is the easiest way to apply wallpaper?
The paper is not self-adhesive, therefore we recommend using not solvent based glue to apply it. We especially recommend Flugger 377 glue (this is not an advertisement, we always use this product in our studio to apply wallpapers, hence the recommendation).
Before you apply wallpaper and any wall - please thoroughly prime the wall and clean the surface of dust or grease. Our wallpapers can be applied on the walls only after about 20 days from the last painting.

What glue do we recommend to apply wallpaper?
We recommend Flugger 377 glue!
Is the price for one stripe?
Yes, the price is for one stripe of wallpaper. Depending on the dimensions of the wall, select the appropriate number of stripes to cover the entire wall.
How is the laminate wallpaper different from the one without?
Laminate is an additional layer that protects the wallpaper. It is colorless, gives a slightly satin finish. It protects against dirt and mechanical damage (dirt, abrasions, scratches). Wallpaper with such a coating is 100% washable, even with strong detergents for really strong dirt. This option is available for individual orders.

Although we strive for perfection, we are human and sometimes the wrong items are shipped from our warehouses. What If I want to cut and match wallpaper by myself?
Patterns on our wallpapers repeat after 50 cm or 100 cm. The attempt of cutting and matching wallpaper may be complicated. In case of having a nondimensional wall i.e. paneling or slanted wall, we suggest placing an order via e-mail. We will be more than happy to prepare wallpaper and advise you with applying in the easiest possible way.
What surfaces can you put wallpaper on?
We strongly advise against applying wallpaper on the rough wall. Wallpaper has the best adhesive on smooth surfaces.
From what kind of material colour wallstickers are being made?
Most of our wallstickers are printed on a special polyester woven material that is created for wall decoration. We never use any advertisement or outdoor material but materials that are safe and properly adapted to it’s destined use.
Our materials are made with acrylic glue and has a block-out function which means that no color on the wall can be seen through our wallstickers or wallpapers.
It has a delicate surface structure (just like a any fashion material). This allows us to print the most beautiful colors and most lively looking animals, the quality of print is amazing.
However…
Wall stickers from the BASIC category are made of one-color self-adhesive foil. It is a pattern in the color of your choice. The sticker is not a printout, it is only a cut out of the indicated shape from a one-color foil sheet.
Wall stickers have thinner material than previous group of wallstickers. They also have weaker glue (though strong enough to hold the wall without problems), thanks to which the application is faster. You can also remove them from the wall if you want to repaint it.

How to apply wallstickers?
Our wallstickers are very easy to apply and does not require any wet cloth or additional foil or glue. However the surface of a wallsticker can be scratched (though it’s not an easy task) therefore we recommend to use only hands or dry cloth for application. No wooden or sharp equipment is needed. The wallsticker has no transparent foil to help with application because there’s no need for that. It’s supersimple!
Before applying our wallsticker please make sure that the wall is properly primed. Then clean the surface from any dust or dirt.

If the wall has been painted with latex paint, please make a simple test before buying. Just stick a 20-cm piece of office adhesive tape to the wall. Leave it on the wall for 24 hours. If the tape has not fallen off the wall and does not visibly peel off, there should also be no problems with the sticker. Please note that anything counts: the lever of sunlight on the wall, moisture in the house or sharp temperature changes. But in 99% of all the houses, they look perfect!
The only paints against which we advise against installing wall stickers are greasy, glossy, latex paints. Those intended e.g. for kitchen walls and requiring greasy structure to be washed frequently. Then it's best to decide on a colored (printed) sticker or photo wallpaper, because these products are made on films with a much stronger adhesive.

From what kind of material our plywood furniture and toys are made of?
The toy / piece of furniture is made of varnished plywood, because we do not want any splinters in a children’s toy. The varnish we use is water-based, so it is completely safe for children.
Most of our product include also stickers made from the same material we use for our decoration for walls. They are very easy to apply as the material is made for interior decor.

Is that true you do not need any screwdrivers or hammers to put the product together?
Absolutely true! No matter of it a big Fantasy Theatre (150 cm) or a small shelf, you do not need any additional elements or equipment to assemble. That’s the beauty of our products! And that was the basic idea - to create SAFE and EASY TO ASSEMBLE beautiful things. Things that will be great for kids as well as for parents!
What is the size of beddings?
We make beddings in one size 135 x 100 cm and the pillow is 40 x 60 cm.
For children in what age are our beddings?
We intended to make this beeding for children from 0 to 4 years old. And we know that our products are used in cribs (140 cm long) and full size bed as well.
What is the material we use for bedding?
We use 100% organic cotton with OEKO-TEX certificate. The material for bedding has to be safe and free of chemicals because it has a direct contact with child's delicate skin. Our is.
How and where is it manufactured?
We manufacture everything in Poland. We chose the largest dye house in Poland to make our prints, they have experience needed to make it beautiful and safe for children. We sew our products in a workshop that is specialized in manufacturing products for children such as clothes, toys and...beddings.
Do we accept returns?
Yes, we do. We accept returns declarations within 14 days of your order’s delivery. If 14 days have gone, unfortunatelly we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. When it comes to shipping costs, we cover the original cost in the amount of the cheapest option of shipping available in our store. However, the cost of shipping the return is covered by the customer.

What if the package is damaged?
All orders are packed and checked with the highest attention. However, if you receive a damaged package, report it immediately to the courier and write down a statement of damage with him. Then inform us by sending an e-mail to: ask@dekornik.com and include your order number and a photo of the damage. We will contact you as soon as possible.
